স্কাইল্যাব ছিল মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের প্রথম মহাকাশ স্টেশন। মার্কিন মহাকাশ সংস্থা ১৯৭৩ সালে ১৪ই মে এই মহাকাশ স্টেশনটিকে উৎক্ষেপন করে। প্রতি মিশনে তিন জন করে মোট তিনটি মিশনে ৯ জন নভোচারী পৃথিবী পর্যবেক্ষণ, সৌর নিরীক্ষণ ও শত শত গবেষণা পরিচালনা করেন।
